POTEAU — The Roland Rangers golf team competed at the Poteau Boys Invitational, which took place April 14 at Choctaw Country Club.
The Rangers had a team score of 369 to finish fifth but had no medalists.
Kylan White had the best day with an 83, with Brady Edmondson a shot behind with an 84. Avery Moya shot a 93, followed by Keegan Knapp with a 109 and Jalen Armer with a 115.
The Rangers will be idle until the Class 3A Regional Tournament on May 30 at a site yet to be determined by the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association.
The Lady Rangers, who did not play in the Poteau Girls Invitational on April 15 originally as scheduled, will be in the Class 3A Regional Tournament today at Rock Creek Golf Course in Sapulpa.
