Muldrow Lady Bulldogs fall to Class 4A’s third-ranked Pocola Lady Indians
The Muldrow Lady Bulldogs had the dubious task of facing Class 4A’s third-ranked Pocola Lady Indians at home on April 15. The Lady Indians (26-3) showed why they are No. 3 in the state in Class 4A as they handled the Lady Bulldogs 13-1 in three innings.
The Lady Indians put away the game early with an 11-run first inning.
Pocola pitcher Lety Parga tossed a three-hitter as Danica Tune was 2-for-2 with a double and scored the lone run for the Lady Bulldogs (5-10), while Jaydin Dean singled. Dean (510) took the loss.
The Lady Bulldogs were slated to play in their Class 5A District Tournament on Tuesday at Sequoyah-Tahlequah with Locust Grove.
