MUSKOGEE — The Central High School track athletes competed in the Hilldale Invitational on April 11, with several individuals doing well.
Gavin Randolph was runner-up in the 400-meter dash (53.25 seconds), Braxin Goodson was second in the 300-meter hurdles (41.6) and fourth in the 800-meter run (2:10) and Charlie Petree was runner-up in the shot put (34-11.5) and fifth in the discus (106-4).
The Tigers’ 1,600-meter relay team of Randolph, Goodson, Jake Woods and Noah Buzzard was runner-up (3:40).
The Central girls’ 3,200-meter relay team of Paris Campbell, Scarlett Harrison, Ryleigh Pierce and Cambree Bair finished third (11:29), while Campbell, Jhaselyn Gonzalez, Gracie Thompson and Bair came in sixth in the 1,600-meter relay (4:43).
The Lady Tigers’ 400-meter relay team of Gonzalez, Kinly Lovell, Thompson and Kaitlin Clark came in ninth (56.89 seconds), while Campbell, Clark, Keeley Poindexter and Bair were ninth in the 800-meter relay (1:58.65).
The Tigers’ 800-meter relay team of Randolph, Goodson, Miller and Woods was 12th (1:39.36).
Alexxus Bolin was 16th in the 100-meter hurdles (20.04 seconds) and 16th in the 300-meter hurdles (59.48), Clark was 17th in the 400-meter dash (1:13.75) and 30th in the 200-meter dash (29.55), Gonzalez was 36th (14.49) and Lovell was 38th (14.51) in the 100-meter dashed Poindexter was 37th (30.55) and Thompson 41st (31.31) in the 200-meter dash.
Woods was 27th in the 40-meter dash (59.84 seconds), Brycen Chandler- Eisman was 49th in the 200-meter dash (26.5) and 59th in the 100-meter dash (13.06).
In the team standings, the Tigers were eighth with 36 points, while the Lady Tigers were ninth with 24 points.
