STIGLER — Roland Lady Rangers golfer Izzy O’Neal shot a 94 to win the Stigler Girls Invitational, which took place last Wednesday at Brier Creek Golf Course. She was the only local golfer to medal.
O’Neal’s teammates, Landyn Ramey and C.C. Pearson, shot a 121 and a 128, respectively.
On Thursday, the Roland Rangers played in the Stigler Boys Invitational at Brier Creek Golf Course and finished fourth in the team standings with a 370.
Three Rangers shot below 100 as Kylan White had an 84, followed by Avery Moya with an 89 and Brady Edmondson with a 95. Keegan Knapp shot a 102, while Jalen Armer carded a 108.
The Rangers were slated to play on Monday at the Poteau Pirate Invitational, then the Lady Rangers were scheduled to play in the Poteau Lady Pirate Invitational on Tuesday.
