The Muldrow Speech & Debate team recently participated in the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) District qualifier tournament in Tulsa. Students showcased exceptional talent and dedication in hopes to represent Northeast Oklahoma in the upcoming NSDA National Tournament in Des Moines, Iowa.
Notably, senior Jason Fricks secured his qualification in United States Extemporaneous Speaking (USX), earning the opportunity to compete at the prestigious NSDA National Tournament.
In addition, seniors Mason Brignac and Ava Seubold achieved the status first alternates in Duo Interpretation. This accomplishment signifies their readiness to step in at the national level should the opportunity arise.
This year is the NSDA Centennial tournament and it is scheduled to take place June 15-20 in Des Moines.
