Now that Spring Break is over, the Muldrow Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs golf teams will start hitting the links big time.
Coach Luke Folkerts’ Bulldogs, who got their season underway March 12 with their own tournament at Wolf Mountain Country Club west of Poteau, return two members of last year’s team — Hayden McKinster and Caden Grinstead. They will be joined by newcomers Chris Phelps, Jace Prewett, Jack Rhodes, Wyatt Prewett, Parker Likens, Rylan Dean and Jacob Phelan.
The ’Dogs will return to action in the Roland Boys Invitational that will begin at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Ben Geren Country Club in Fort Smith, Ark.
Coach Barry Tabor’s Lady Bulldogs return to golfers from a season ago, Zalie Isa and Teanna Bark. Rounding out the roster are Ali Ki Phillips, Chloee Clark, Brooke Frost, Gracie Prewett and Genevieve Stephenson.
After the Lady Bulldogs get their season going in Monday’s Keys Girls Invitational at Cherokee Trails Golf Course in Tahlequah, they will play in the Roland Girls Invitational that will start at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ben Geren Country Club.
