Central Lady Tigers open slow-pitch softball season with win over Keota

The Central Lady Tigers opened their 2025 slow-pitch softball season with an 8-4 win over the Keota Lady Lions on Monday afternoon at home.

The Lady Tigers (10) broke a 4-all tie with a single run in the fifth inning and a three-run sixth inning.

For the game, Camryn Gilliam was 3-for-4 with a run batted in and a run scored, Jhaselyn Gonzalez was 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, two RBIs and a run scored and Ayrland Jiles was 2-for-4 with a double, her first home run of the season and three RBIs.

Riley Rowland (1-0) got the win.
