Funeral services for Joyce O’Neal, 73, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, at Dora Assembly of God Church in Dora. Burial followed at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. O’Neal was born on Feb. 5, 1952, to Irene (Hughes) Riddle and Port Athel “P.A.” Riddle. She passed away on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, in Poteau.
She married Lee Roy O’Neal on June 27, 1969, in Muldrow. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 2024.
She worked as an adjuster for Shelter Insurance, and found great joy in her faith, reading the Bible, listening to gospel music, and watching sermons and services.
Survivors include a daughter, Kandrea Fowler and husband Toby of Poteau; son, Dustan O’Neal and wife Heather of Muldrow; six grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Bob Riddle.
Pallbearers were Butch Floyd, Jerry Smith, Stan Fowler, Toby Fowler and Asher O’Neal.
