David Wendell Phelps

He was a supervisor at Ashland. Survivors include one daughter, Destini Ross of Van Buren, Ark.; one son, David Wendell Phelps II and April of Houston; his mother, of Muldrow; one sister, Debbie Waters and Michael of Muldrow; two brothers, Danny Phelps of Van Buren and Darrin Phelps and Ruby of Muldrow; two grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

David Wendell Phelps, 60, of Roland, died on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, in Roland. He was born on July 18, 1964, in Kansas City, Kan., to Otis Joe Phelps and Nina Lois (Carter) Phelps.

No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral
