Former Muldrow Lady Bulldog’s UASF Lions go undefeated last week

FORT SMITH, Ark. — Former Muldrow Lady Bulldog Hannah Boyett and the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Lions went undefeated at home last week at Stubblefield Center as the Lions beat Washburn 83-81 on Thursday night and then defeated Central Missouri 66-60.

While not playing in Thursday’s game against Washburn, Boyett, who has been playing while undergoing treatments for thyroid cancer after the diagnosis was made in July, scored three points, grabbed a rebound and had an assist.

Boyett and the Lions (15-9 overall, 9-6 in MIAA Conference play) will continue their homestand this week with a Thursday night game against Missouri Western State at 5:30 p.m. and a 1 p.m. Saturday home contest against Northwest Missouri State.
