Roland powerlifting duo place in last week’s meet at Checotah

CHECOTAH — Two Roland High School powerlifters placed at last Wednesday’s Checotah Invitational.

In the girls’ division, Mira Reagan was fifth in the 136-pound weight class, while Jaydan Fancher tied for fifth in the heavyweight class in the boys’ division.

Due to illness, none of the Muldrow powerlifters participated in the event.

Both the Roland and Muldrow powerlifters will be idle until participating in Friday’s Iron Hog Classic in Panama.
