Former Muldrow player’s UAFS Lions lose twice last week

Former Muldrow Lady Bulldog Hannah Boyett and the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Lions lost twice last week on the road, losing 75-52 to Nebraska- Kearney on Thursday night and falling 8262 to Fort Hays (Kan.) State on Saturday afternoon.

In the loss to Nebraska- Kearney, Boyett was held scoreless with two rebounds and a steal.

In the loss to Fort Hays State, Boyett scored three points with a rebound and a steal.

Boyett, who is playing despite a thyroid cancer diagnosis in July, and the Lions (138 overall, 7-5 in Mid-America Intercollegiate Association play) will return to action twice this week, both at Stubblefield Center — at 5:30 p.m. this Thursday against Washburn and 1 p.m. this Saturday against Central Missouri.
