Five years ago, a blessing box was put up at Liberty Public School in honor of the late Madi Cate Moreland. “That blessing box served its purpose for the years it was here, but from the weather and lots of use, it was time for a new one,” Tra Moreland, Madi Cate’s mother, said. “A big thanks to Ashlee Wolfe for taking charge and arranging a new one, and to Jeremy Peters for building it. Also, thank you to the ones that donated towards it. I know Madi Cate is smiling down!” Pictured with the blessing box are Jillian, Mallory and Sara, all classmates of Madi Cate.
