Broadway Joe’s sends thanks

Dear Editor, On behalf of Broadway Joe’s Cafe in Muldrow, we would like to thank all of those involved in our 24th annual free Thanksgiving dinner. With your help, we were able to feed 447 people, many of whom would not have had a meal otherwise.

It takes a village to make this happen and we are so grateful for the people in our little corner of the world. Special thanks goes out to Tasha Harris/ MCCO and the Cherokee Nation. We couldn’t have done this without your support!

We would also like to recognize the following people that we are forever grateful to: Jesse Hayes, Angel Keith, Emma Keith, Nathan Murray, Jana McKenzie, Roger Smith, Regina Davis, Cathy and Brant Followell, Linda and Mike Small, Catherine Jones, Tim Jones, Sequoyah County Times, Eastern Times-Register, Mix 105.1, Muldrow Lions Club, Peggy Yancey, Tankersley Foods, Liz Johnson/Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church, and Paul and Marlene Matlock.

Many thanks also to our loyal customers who donated to this cause. Because of your generosity several families in the area had a better Christmas. God bless you for caring!

We are thankful to God for the opportunity to serve the community in this capacity for all of these years. All praise to Him!

Our prayer for the New Year is that we will all be kinder to each other and try to help where we can. May God bless each of you!
