Kozie Quilters: Ready, set, sew!
By SUBMITTED BY LINDA WIGHT

Kozie Quilters met on Jan. 8 to set goals and prepare for the new year. They are set and ready for a lot of sewing and quilting in 2025!

The group looks forward to meeting at Trinity Methodist Church from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays.

The church is located between Muldrow and Roland on Hwy. 64.

We appreciate the church providing a place for us to meet, sew, and store our supplies.

Thirty members make beautiful quilts and joyfully present the quilts to people in Sequoyah County who need them.

During 2024, Kozie Quilters donated 459 quilts to county elementary schools, veterans, county agencies, burn-out victims, and other individuals, as needed.

The quilts are made from donated fabric. If you have fabric and/or other quilting supplies, please consider donating them to the Kozie Quilters.

The group welcomes new members. The ladies enjoy sewing, quilting, learning, sharing ideas, and sometimes potluck.

Contact Linda Wight at 479-719-5542 if you’d like to join or make a supply donation.
