The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma has announced that Christopher R. Amundson, 38, of Roland, has entered a guilty plea to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
The Indictment alleged that on June 1, 2023, Amundson knowingly and intentionally possessed a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance, with the intent to distribute it.
The charge arose from an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Sequoyah County Sheriff ’s Office.
The Honorable Jason A. Robertson, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a pre-sentence investigation report.
Amundson was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal Service pending sentencing.
