FORT SMITH, Ark. — Former Muldrow Lady Bulldog Hannah Boyett scored eight points for the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Lions in a 68-53 win over Rogers State College on Wednesday night at Stubblefield Center.
Boyett, who is playing while undergoing treatment for thyroid cancer, also had three rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Boyett then had six points, a rebound, a steal and an assist to help the Lions defeat the University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos 85-74 on Sunday afternoon at Stubblefield Center.
Former Roland Lady Ranger and current freshman player Lilly Medicine Bird did not play in the game for UCO.
The Lions (10-5 overall, 4-2 in Mid-American Intercollegiate Association play) will return to action at 5:30 p.m. Thursday against Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.
