Several Roland Youth Wrestling Club members place at Brushy Christmas Brawl

Several Roland Youth Wrestling Club members placed at the Brushy Christmas Brawl, which took place Dec. 28.

Bretley “Gage” Peters (58 pounds) and Channing Davidson (heavyweight) were runnersup in the open age 8-and-younger division, while Zaiden Jones was second at 160 pounds in the open age 12-andyounger division.

A fourth member, Tye Richards, also came in runner-up at 55 pounds in the open age 8-andyounger division, while going 1-1 in the open age 10-and-younger division at the same weight class.

Remington Peters was third (49 pounds), while Ross Richards was fourth (43) in the age 6-and-younger division. Sawyer Rainwater also came in fourth at 84 pounds in the open age 12-and-younger division.

Ryder Fleming went 2-2 at 73 pounds, while Evan Waltermire went 1-1 at 52 pounds in the open age 10-andyounger division.

Kacen Copeland went 2-1 at 120 pounds, Matthew McGhee (120) and Connor Davidson (160) each won a match and Camryn Johnson (160) lost all four matches in the open age 12-andyounger division and both matches at 200 pounds in the girls age 12-and-younger division.

Connor Johnson went 1-2 at 52 pounds in the age 6-andyounger division, while Carson Conway (43) and Roman Crabtree (52) lost their matches in the open age 8-andyounger division.

Logan Waltermire went 1-1 at 140 pounds, while Tommy Greschke lost his three matches at 112 pounds in the open age 15-and-younger division.

In the girls age 15-and-younger division, Payton Sampley went 1-1 at 138 pounds, while Madison Hall lost both her matches at 110 pounds.
