Graveside services for Nadine Campbell, 88, of Nicut, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at Lassley Cemetery in Nicut under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Campbell was born on July 22, 1936, in Nicut to Oscar Owen Horn and Vadeus (Seratt) Horn Shuey. She died on Friday, Dec. 6, 2022, in Roland.
She was a licensed beautician, teacher assistant at Muldrow Schools and a retired licensed practical nurse. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, Bible study and her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane Morton of Sallisaw and Beverly Flynn of Fort Smith; two sons, Bill Mathews of Nicut and Kevin Mathews of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; two step-daughters, Jenny Jenkins of Bixby and Shelly Campbell of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Lloyd Horn of Kansas City, Kan., and Terry Shuey of Muldrow; one sister, Donna Minden of Barling, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Elmer Mathews; second husband, Art Campbell, on Nov. 5, 2006; two daughters, Karen Testerman and Denise Allen; step-son, Scott Campbell; two brothers, Sonny and Robert Horn; and a grandson.
Pallbearers were Kodie Benge, Kyle Morton, Isaac Testerman, Matt Mathews, Zane Mathews and Pete Dean.
