“Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms” (Ps 95:1-2).
Let’s Sing
To God be the glory great things He has done So loved He the world that He gave us His son Who yielded His life an atonement for sin And opened the life gate that all may go in Praise the Lord, praise the Lord let the earth hear His voice Praise the Lord, praise the Lord let the people rejoice Come to the Father through Jesus the Son Give Him the glory great things He has done How do we praise Him? We sing, shout, and give thanks to Him, all with joyful hearts.
As we come together, let us praise Him. We are together in spirit even when we are in different places. Christians around the world can praise Him together. God will hear the beautiful sound of His people as we praise Him. The Lord will hear our praises! Praise Him!
Reparation for Praise
If there is sin in your life…confess it, ask God to forgive you, and let the praise begin. As we pray, knowing that He will forgive a humble heart, we can see Him on His throne and we just praise Him for who He is and all He has done for us.
He came in the flesh, lived a perfect life, volunteered to die for our sins, was crucified, buried and raised the third day from the grave and was seen by thousands and fifty days later ascended back to Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father where He intercedes for us. This is why we should praise our Lord Jesus Christ.
Christian are you praising Him? Are you thankful?
The words “Oh come” means to meet God face to face…to be in His presence. We can come into His presence because of the blood of Jesus Christ. “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus” (Heb 10:19-25). Praise Him!
Why Praise Him?
“For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land” (95:3-5).
He is Creator. “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible,… All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” (Col 1:15-18).
We praise Him because… “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold” (Ps.18:2). God is our strength, stability, stronghold and protection. Praise Him! He is so worthy of our praise! He protects us! Praise Him!
We praise Him because He is the One and Only Great, Living God, and He is above all the stone and wooden idols people call gods. He is the Real, True, Loving, All-knowing, All-powerful, All-Present God. We have all we need in Him! Praise Him!
After the Ascension Jesus was enthroned. “Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God” (Acts 2:33; Eph 1:19-21)…Praise Him!
His Name is above every name! “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Phil 2:9-12)…Praise Him!
Nothing “shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom 8:39)…Praise Him!
Let’s join together in prayer as we praise Him together.
He is coming for us! Praise Him!
Praising God brings His Power!
