Several members of the Brushy Schools Esports Team qualified for the MSEL Fall Major Tournament, which started last Wednesday, where they are competing against other schools from the Central Time Zone in such games as Super Smash Brothers Solos, Super Smash Brothers Crews, Minecraft and Chess. Members are, front row, from left — Cannon Johnson, Levi Massey and Solomon Vang. Middle row — Bronson Camacho, Brayden McCormack, Braylynn Darcy, Josh Jumper and Jaxon Ross. Back row— Hunter Menie, Silas Cook, Owen Plattner, Liam Plattner, Nik Stites and Cepahs Vang. Jumper, Cook and Owen Plattner all qualified for the second round of competition, which will take place next Monday. Two teams of three, with one team comprised of Stites, Camacho and Massey and the other one comprised of Cook, Owen Plattner and Liam Plattner, qualified for the semifinals for Super Smash Crews, which are slated for Dec. 5.
