ABOVE: Roland FFA participated in the Muskogee Region Wildlife Management Career Development Event, hosted by the Vian FFA Chapter. Also helping with the event was the Wildlife Department at Northeastern State University and Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge. Students were required to identify species of animals found in Oklahoma and Oklahoma plant species that are important for wildlife. They also had to take a written test over hunting, boating, outdoor safety, and the current Oklahoma Department of Wildlife hunting and fishing regulations for the current year. Roland FFA placed first in the Junior Division. Team members were (from left), Sam Webb, Garrett Clark, Gavin Oliver, Payton Howard, Derrick Allen, Alex Brant, Jeremiah Peters, Jessica Morris, Seth Clark, Easton Rainwater, and Paisley Davis. Brant was also the high individual in the Junior Division.
