Nominations for individuals to be considered for the 2025 Northeastern State University Centurions cohort will open Nov. 1.
Established in spring of 2009 during the Centennial Founders Day Celebration, Northeastern State University has cultivated a tradition of recognizing excellence.
Each spring, NSU adds up to 10 names to the growing Centurion list of individuals who have had a profound impact on the nominator, members of the NSU community or the public at large. Past nominees and honorees have included NSU students, staff, faculty and alumni.
Previously honored Centurions include former Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation Bill John Baker, country music singer Carrie Underwood, Cherokee Nation Deputy Chief Bryan Warner, former NSU athletic director Dr. Jack Dobbins and entrepreneur Jeff Reasor.
The deadline to nominate someone to be a 2025 Centurion is Nov. 29.
The 2025 Centurions will be announced early next year, and the individuals who have been chosen as honorees will be celebrated during the Centurion Luncheon on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
