POTEAU — Former Muldrow Lady Bulldog cross country runner and Carl Albert State College Lady Viking freshman Kennady Moore was ninth in Friday morning’s CASC Invitational. She ran the 5,000-meter course in a time of 25:43.66 to make her one of seven runners to make the top 10.
Moore was on the victorious team champion Lady Vikings, which scored 21 points, besting runner-up Murray State College (38 points).
The Lady Vikings had the top two spots as Calli Connally was the champion (21:02.37) and teammate Lindsey Wortham was runnerup (21:46.63).
Eliana Berger was fifth (24:41.49), Lin Lee was sixth (24:44.79), Jacie Moffett was seventh (25:03.05) and Margaret Poahway was 10th (25:49.53). Destiny Lawson was 15th (29:48.5).
The CASC Lady Vikings will be idle until running in the Chili Pepper Invitational on Sept. 28 in Fayetteville, Ark.
