Last week was a rough one for the Roland Lady Rangers as they lost all three games played.
The Lady Rangers lost 7-6 in eight innings at Panama on Aug. 19, then were blanked by District 3A-8 rival Eufaula 6-0 on the road Aug. 20 and ended the week with an 8-2 loss to Central.
In the loss to Central, the Lady Tigers broke a 2-all tie after an inning with a two-run third inning, a single run in the fifth inning and a threerun sixth inning.
In defeat, Addyson Clark tripled with an RBI and a run scored for the Lady Rangers (3-5).
McKinna Cooper (25) took the loss, despite striking out five batters in seven innings.
In the loss to Panama, after the Lady Rangers scored four runs in the sixth inning to tie the game at 6-all, the Lady Razorbacks got the win in walk-off fashion as they scored a run in the eighth inning.
In defeat, Ariana Acevedo was 2-for-5 with a run scored, Adriana Moya was 2-for-4 with a double, two runs batted in and a run scored, Clark was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, Kyleigh Knapp was 2-for-4 with a run scored and Lilly Cole was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for Roland.
Cooper suffered the loss as she struck out two batters in 7.2 innings.
In the road district setback against Eufaula, the Lady Ironheads scored twice in the first inning, single runs in the second and third innings and capped things off with a two-run sixth inning.
In defeat, Clark was 2-for-3 with a double, while Jaydance Bean was 2-for-3 for the Lady Rangers (2-2 in district play). Cooper took the loss.
