There will be a former Muldrow Lady Bulldog cross country runner participating this season for the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings.
Former Lady Bulldog Kennady Moore will be among the nine members of the CASC Lady Vikings squad this fall season, which will begin at 5 p.m. Friday with the Northwest Arkansas Community College Race in Bentonville, Ark.
Kennady Moore was part of the historic 2023 Muldrow Lady Bulldogs cross country team that qualified for the Class 4A State Meet for the first time in program history. She finished 89th.
Unfortunately, there won’t be both of Muldrow’s Moore twins running this fall for CASC coach Kristin Snyder as Katelynn Moore will have to be red-shirted due to recovering from her ACL surgery repair after suffering the injury in the final Class 4A playoff game for the Lady Bulldogs — which prevented her from running track this past spring for the Lady Bulldogs. Katelynn Moore was 29th at last year’s Class 4A State Meet.
The CASC squads will have their home meet in conjunction with the Poteau High School Invitational at 8 a.m. Sept. 6.
