The Oklahoma Tax Commission recently released city sales tax collection figures that primarily represents local tax receipts from June business. The monies they reported this period represent sales from June 16 to 30 and estimated sales from July 1 to 15.
Statewide, the disbursement of $200,525,914 in sales tax collections returned to the cities and towns reflected a decrease of $4,302,790 from the $204,828,404 distributed to the cities and towns in June last year. The use tax disbursement to cities and town was $36,692,373 according to the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
In county returns, the counties shared in a $34,342,252 sales tax disbursement and a $6,511,536 use tax disbursement.
