Padgett’s Barber Shop celebrates 65 years

Padgett’s Barber Shop in Sallisaw has been in business for 65 years, and the business has only moved once in all those years. Dewey Padgett does not seem to be taking a break anytime soon as he continues to cut hair for people of all ages. Dewey’s dad, Willie Padgett, was the original owner of the barber shop. The father and son duo have been cutting hair for multiple generations of Sequoyah County residents. Padgett’s Barber Shop is located at 202 N. Oak Street and can be reached at 918-775-3983.
