The Muldrow High School cross country teams are ready for the 2024 season, which will begin with the Early Tiger Invitational at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 22 in Tahlequah.
The Lady Bulldogs are coming off a historic 2023 season in which they made the Class 4A State Meet for the first time in program history, where they finished 14th.
The Muldrow girls return four of the members who ran at state, Genna Stephenson (who finished 100th at last year’s state meet), Emma Fields (115th), Noa Coleman (137th) and Maysi Fields (156th).
Also back from last year’s squad for Muldrow coach Debra Silva-McDonald are Jensi Fields and Isabelle Rogers. They will be joined by newcomer Gianna Stephenson.
The ’Dogs return five members from last season’s team — Jesse Kilinc, Zeeshan Bukhari, Parker Sevenstar, Jaxson Anstine and Seth Nance.
Rounding out the boys’ roster for coach Terry Collins are Jack Pyeatt, Brady Brasher, Kaden Rye, Michael House, Shawn Lovett, Kendal Howell, Josten Henson and Braxton McKenzie.
