Roland Public Schools (RPS) and CREOKS Health Services are teaming up to bring school-based mental health services to RPS. Together, they’re committed to supporting the well-being of students.
Beginning this fall, CREOKS will embed school-based therapists, care coordinators and behavioral health services at the school.
A school-based therapist is a licensed mental health professional who provides therapeutic support and counseling services to students within the school environment to support their emotional well-being and academic success.
A school-based care coordinator will help students and their families connect with necessary services and supports within the school and community, ensuring they receive comprehensive care for their educational and developmental needs.
A school-based behavioral health coach provides guidance and support to students, focusing on improving behavioral skills and emotional well-being within the school setting.
RPS is thrilled about the new partnership with CREOKS. This exciting collaboration means they’ll have two additional teams, bringing in six more dedicated professionals to support students.
Alongside the school’s school-based social worker and school counselors, they’re now better equipped than ever to assist supporting the mental health of each student on their educational journeys.
