Funeral services for Stevie Ray Chewey, 33, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, at Vision of Christ Ministries Church in Marble City.
Burial was at Marble City Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Chewey was born on Oct. 31, 1990, in Gravette, Ark., to Wilfred William Chewey and Genese Ann (Sixkiller) Chewey. He died on Monday, June 24, 2024, in Little Rock, Ark.
He was a brick layer and of the Baptist faith. He married Mariah Marie Cheater on Sept. 13, 2014, in Marble City.
Survivors include his wife, Mariah Chewey of the home; one son, Keighton Chewey; one daughter, Amiyah Chewey; his parents; and other family members and friends.
Pallbearers were Wilfred Chewey, Marc Girdner Jr., Jeremiah Harrison, Anthony Whaler, Toddy Swake and Michael Reed.
