Michael Kevin Vance

Dec. 22, 1956 – June 25, 2024

Graveside service for Michael Kevin Vance, 67, were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Akins Cemetery under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services, Inc. of Sallisaw.

Mr. Vance was born on Dec. 22, 1956, in Sallisaw, to John Harvey Vance and Cuby Zale Teague Barnhill. He died on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in Tulsa.

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Northeastern State University.

Survivors are his siblings, Tony and wife Debbie Vance of Cookson, Kim Harp of Sallisaw, Darren and wife Lisa Barnhill of Sallisaw, Renee Muniz of Tulsa and Jonathan Vance of Bixby; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were his nephews.
