Indian Capital Technology Center (ICTC) held its Practical Nursing graduation ceremony for the ICTC-Sallisaw campus in the Sharp Multipurpose Center on June 20. Completion certificates were awarded to 21 students who completed the Practical Nursing program.
Students who were recognized include: Cami Akins, Andrea Bentley, Shelby Corbin, Jessica Moore, Jessica Camacho, Dajia Cross, Rachael Finney, Isabel Hernandez, Shanice Johnson, Lawanda Jones, Phonetip Khamvongsa, Natalia Kirby, Alisha Murray, David Leach, Jessica McPhail, Amber Newton, Madisyn Parish, Jackson Potts, Carolina Ramirez, Debora Tart, and Daissy Tiscareno.
Students enrolled in this career major experience challenging coursework with relevant clinical instruction in a variety of clinical areas. Students work with physicians and nurses in a clinical environment. The ICTC Practical Nursing curriculum guides the student to utilize critical thinking skills to provide quality patient care.
The ICTC PN program is approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing. Upon successful completion, students are prepared for the National Council for Licensure Exams (NCLEX) and immediate employment.
