Dozens of Sequoyah County residents joined United Faith pastor Austin Carrigan and others from the Pastors’ Fellowship last Thursday at the Sequoyah County Courthouse gazebo to join others across the country in observance of the 73rd annual National Day of Prayer. Theme for this year’s observance was “Lift Up the Word, Light Up the World.” According to www.nationaldayofprayer.org, prayers were offered for the family, church, military, government, business and workplace, education, arts, media and entertainment.
