The 43rd annual Sequoyah County OHCE quilt show and bake sale will be June 21-22 at the Sequoyah County Fair Building. Doors are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Quilts should be brought to the fairgrounds building from 7:30 a.m. to noon on June 20. The owner of the quilt should have their name, address and phone number pinned to the back of the quilt in the lower right hand corner. Due to space restrictions, entries are limited to three quilts per person. The quilts should be numbered 1 through 3 in priority of your choice.
Quilts previously entered in this show will not be accepted. Quilts must be hand-quilted or machine-quilted and finished. Release forms will be given during check-in, and must be presented to pick up quilts following the show.
Quilts will be taken down after 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Sponsors are not responsible for lost or damaged entries left after the show.
Quilt show admission is $5 per person. In addition, tickets are available to win a queen-sized red scrappy crossroads quilt. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5, and can be purchased at the door.
Tables will be available for handmade crafts, and bake sale items will include cakes, pies, cookies, fried pies and other goodies.
Lunch will be available for purchase on Friday for $10. The lunch menu includes chicken, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, assorted salads, rolls, dessert and a drink. Snacks and drinks, individually priced, will be available on Saturday.
