Just after midnight on April 2, the Roland Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire on the east side of town. Upon arrival, firefighters found the residence to be heavily involved with fire. Unfortunately, the residence received extensive damage. Fire crews were able to find and save the owner’s cat before he sustained any injuries. The department was assisted on the scene by the Muldrow and Liberty Fire Departments.
