Muldrow high jumper state runner-up
CATOOSA — Muldrow Bulldogs high jumper Teaguen Collins was second in the high jump with a leap of 6-4 to be the silver medalist and state runner-up at the Class 4A State Track Meet, which took place Friday and Saturday.
Collins also was eighth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.66 seconds.
In the Class 3A State Meet, Roland’s Uriah Phillips was 14th in the long jump (19-2.5).
Phillips’ teammate, D.J. Massey, who qualified for state in the high jump, did not perform at state due to moving to a new school, according to Roland Rangers coach Rashawn Eubanks.
