Roland FFA team takes honors

The Roland FFA recently placed first in competition at the Roland Invitational, where over 300 FFA students from chapters across the state participated in seven different FFA Career Development Events. The Floriculture team has to identify horticulture plants, horticulture pests and plant disorders, and take a general knowledge test over horticulture. Team members are Gladdy Griffin, Jessy Morris. Lauren Fletcher, Janessa Peters and Brooklin Peters. Fletcher placed as high individual, Janessa Peters placed third, and Morris placed fifth.
