The Roland FFA Wildlife Management Team placed first at the Contest at the Cave, hosted by the Cave Springs FFA. Team members were in competition against other teams from the Northeast Area. Team members have to identify Oklahoma Wildlife Species, identify trees, grasses, forbs, and legumes important to wildlife, take a written test over Hunting and Outdoor Safety, and a written test over the current Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Fishing and Hunting Regulations. A special thanks to the Northeastern State University Wildlife Department for proving the identification samples. Team members are (from left) Keegan Knapp, Garet Ruckman, Paisley Davis, Brooklin Peters, Emily Osburn, Alex Brant, Gracie Just, Derrick Allen, Lane Cantrell, Wyatt Harvell, and Gavin Oliver. Harvell was the first placed individual, Brant was the second place individual, and Allen and Peters tied for third place.
