Central Lady Tigers’ slow-pitch softball season ends

HASKELL — The Central Lady Tigers saw their 2024 slow-pitch softball season come to an end Wednesday at the Class 3A District Tournament.

The good news on Wednesday was the Lady Tigers (1-11) got their first win of the season, beating Ketchum in the district tournament, but then they lost twice to district-host Haskell by scores of 13-0 and 12-0.

In the first loss to Haskell, the Lady Tigers were two-hit by Haskell pitcher Josie Enkey.

In the season-ending loss to the Lady Haymakers, Enkey tossed a second two-hitter against Central.

There was no more information reported on the Ketchum game by press time.
