STIGLER — The Muldrow Bulldogs golf team finished ninth as a team at Friday’s Stigler Invitational, which took place at Brier Creek Golf Course. The ’Dogs had a team score of 452.
Lucas Robinson had the best day, carding a 102, one shot better than teammate Reid Sutton, who had a 103. Hayden McKinster shot a 123, with Caden Grinstead carding a 124.
The Roland Rangers had individuals who competed in the one-day event, but not enough players to be in consideration for team scores.
Brady Edmondson led the way for Roland with a 92, followed by Kylan White at 105 and Ayden Conaway with a 109.
The Rangers will return to action in today’s Roland Invitational at Ben Geren Golf Course in Fort Smith, Ark., while the Bulldogs were scheduled to play in the Class 4A Regional Preview on Monday at Poteau’s Wolf Ridge Country Club before going to today’s Roland Invitational.
The Lady Rangers were slated to play in their own Roland Invitational on Monday at Ben Geren Golf Course, which also will feature the Lady Bulldogs, before playing in Tuesday’s Class 3A Regional Qualifier at Cushing’s Buffalo Rock Golf Course.
