The Muldrow Lady Bulldogs slow-pitch softball team tried once more Monday to get their 2024 season underway.
After having their first two games rained out at the end of last week, the Lady Bulldogs, who were 16-9 last season, were slated to try to get their season started at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Vian.
The Lady Bulldogs return eight of last year’s 10 starters back — senior outfielder Ashley Price, senior pitcher Cailey Grinstead, junior outfielders Danica Tune and Eve Kennan, junior infielder Ryah Keenan, sophomore infielders Amaya Duran and Kaydence Young and sophomore utility player Jaydin Dean.
Senior outfielders Kaira Qualls and Abby Collins, sophomore outfielder Aubrey Luttrell, freshman infielder Amarie Duran and freshman outfielder Heidi McGuire also are expected to see quite a bit of playing time.
Jaiden Winkler, Riley Wilson and Avery Arnold round out the roster.
