ROLAND – Firstar Bank announced that long-time Roland resident Lance Smith has been promoted to President. He most recently served as Southern Market Regional President.
Smith joined Firstar Bank 25 years ago. He brings a deep commitment to local, community banking and more than two decades of lending expertise to his new role.
Smith will oversee Lending, Retail Operations, and Marketing across Firstar’s 11 markets in Eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas.
“Lance’s career at Firstar Bank has been marked by outstanding achievements, particularly in spearheading the expansion of the southern market operations into the Fort Smith, Van Buren, and Northwest Arkansas regions,” Board Chairman Mike Leonard said.
Smith is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a major in Business Administration and Southern Methodist University Graduate School of Banking. His deep ties to the Roland community, where he and his family have longstanding roots, further underscore his commitment to local engagement and service.
He and his wife Lacy, both graduates of Roland High School, have two children, Logan and Landon who are also Roland High School graduates.
