SPIRO — The Roland Lady Rangers slow-pitch softball team split their season-opening threeway games on March 12, beating Porum 5-3 but losing 4-1 to the host Spiro Lady Bulldogs.
Thursday’s road three-way at Warner with Vian was rained out.
In the win over Porum, In the win over Porum, the Lady Rangers (1-1) scored three runs in the fourth inning to go from a 3-2 deficit to a 5-3 lead.
For the game, Addyson Clark was 2-for-2 with a triple, a run batted in and a run scored for Roland. Kia Petit (11) got the win.
In the loss to Spiro, the Lady Bulldogs, who trailed 1-0 in the first inning, scored twice in each of the first two innings to get the comefrom-behind win. In defeat, Aubriana Gragg was 2-for-2, while Jaydance Bean was 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI for Roland. Petit took the loss.
The Lady Rangers will take Spring Break Week off, then return to action at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Vian.
