Muldrow, Gans powerlifters place at state meet

EL RENO — Several local powerlifters placed at last weekend’s state meet.

The Muldrow Bulldogs had two high school placers and two junior high placers. In Friday’s Class 4A State Meet, Devon Holland was 16th as he lifted a total of 1,200 pounds, while Alejandro Santacruz was 21st with 1,160 total pounds lifted in the 220-pound division.

In Thursday’s Class 4A Junior High State Meet, David Keenan was fourth at 105 pounds after lifting a total of 535 pounds, while Braxton Thrailkill also was fourth at 220 pounds after lifting a total of 1,180 pounds.

Gans Grizzlies powerlifter Anthony Vasquez placed 13th in the 181-pound in the Class B State Meet on Saturday.

Roland 132-pound junior-high powerlifter Devon White competed in Thursday’s Class 4A Junior High State Meet, but he did not place.
