GREENVILLE, S.C. — Former Muldrow Lady Bulldog Taylen Collins and the Auburn Tigers women’s basketball team went 1-1 in the 2024 Southeastern Conference Tournament, which took place last weekend at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
The Tigers defeated Arkansas 67-48 on Thursday but lost to defending national champion Louisiana State University 78-48.
In the win over Arkansas, Collins scored two points to go with seven rebounds, an assist and a steal for the Tigers (20-11).
In defeat, Samara Spencer, Jenna Lawrence and Makayla Daniels each logged 13 points to pace the Razorbacks (18-14).
In the loss to LSU, Collins, who transferred from Oklahoma State prior to this season, scored three points, grabbed six boards, dished out an assist and had a steal.
