Two first year students at Columbia University in New York City, Jaci Walker of Muldrow and Maddox Mayo of Sallisaw, were each notified last week that they made the Dean’s List for their academic performance during the Fall 2023 semester.
Students must earn a minimum GPA of 3.6 or better in 12 or more points of letter credit in the preceding term are placed on the Dean’s List, according to Columbia University’s website.
Walker, a 2023 Muldrow High School graduate, is a prospective English major and plans to attend law school. Mayo, a 2023 graduate of the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics, is a prospective physics major.
