The Roland High School golf teams are ready for this spring season, which will begin March 11 for the Lady Rangers at the Muldrow Girls Invitational and March 12 for the Rangers at the Muldrow Boys Invitational.
The Lady Rangers lack numbers, but have great experience as all three members — seniors Jazy Harrison and Lilly Medicine Bird and junior Izzy O’Neal — are beginning their third season playing for coach Heather Moore.
The Rangers have six members, one more than the minimum five needed to be able to compete for team titles in golf tournaments.
The Rangers return two members from last year’s team — sophomore Kylan White, who qualified for last year’s Class 3A Regional Tournament but missed the cut to make state, and junior Lucas Younger.
Rounding out the team are seniors Jaidan Ross, Ayden Conaway, junior Jalen Armer and freshman Brady Edmondson.
