Four Brushy Wrestling Club members crowned state champions, five others place

OKLAHOMA CITY — Four Brushy Wrestling Club members won state titles at the 2024 Oklahoma Kids Wrestling Association (OKWA) State Tournament, which took place Feb. 16-17 at Jim Norick State Fair Arena.

Layten Cross, Liliana Guerrero, Abel Glover and Charlie Petree all were crowned state champions.

Gipsee Reed was state runner-up, Avie Lamp and Isaac Glover were third and Hayley Bentley and Rocklyn Johnson placed sixth.

Tristen Cross, Seth Glover, Ruby Johnson, Silas Grayson, Jesse Bentley and Rylan Henry also wrestled at the state tournament but did not place.
