The Auburn University women’s basketball team split last week’s games, winning 57-41 over Texas A&M on Sunday at Neville Arena in Auburn, Ala., after losing 71-66 to defending national champion Louisiana State Univer-sity on Thursday night in Baton Rouge, La.
In Sunday’s win over Texas A&M, former Muldrow Lady Bulldog and Oklahoma State University Cowgirl Taylen Collins scored 10 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had a steal for the Tigers (1710 overall, 6-8 in Southeastern Conference play).
In Thursday’s loss to LSU, Collins had five points, two boards and three steals.
The Tigers will return to action at 7 p.m. Thursday against Mississippi State at Neville Arena for Senior Night before ending the regular season at 11 a.m. Sunday at Florida.
